The Garden Club of Manchester is proud to support students who share a passion for the environment, conservation, horticulture, and the stewardship of our natural resources. For more than 60 years, the Club has awarded scholarships to graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education in environmental and plant-related fields.

For 2026, the Garden Club of Manchester is pleased to offer a $4,000 scholarship award to a graduating senior from a Manchester-area high school who plans to continue their education in a qualifying field of study.

Eligible areas of study include, but are not limited to:

• Agronomy

• Agriculture Education

• Floriculture

• Horticulture

• Landscape Design

• Botany and Biology

• Forestry

• Wildlife Science

• Plant Science and Plant Pathology

• Environmental Science

• Environmental Conservation

• Environmental Engineering

• Land Management

• Ecology and Ecosystem Studies

• Habitat Restoration

• Natural Resource Management

• Urban and Rural Planning

• Sustainability and Environmental Policy

• Other related environmental, agricultural, or horticultural fields

Through this scholarship program, the Garden Club of Manchester seeks to encourage and recognize students who are committed to protecting, enhancing, and sustaining the natural world. We are honored to support future leaders whose education and careers will help shape a healthier and more beautiful environment for generations to come.

The Garden Club of Manchester Scholarship is awarded annually in June. Scholarship funds are distributed after the recipient has successfully completed their first semester of college. In addition to the completed application, applicants must submit a current school transcript and letters of recommendation. We encourage all eligible students with an interest in environmental, horticultural, agricultural, or related fields to apply and look forward to learning about your goals and aspirations.
