It's time to renew your membership! The annual membership renewal period begins September 1. To ensure uninterrupted membership and participation in club activities, please submit your dues in full by October 1.

Manchester Town Green Clean-up Day
Join us for the Manchester Town Green Cleanup as we work together to beautify and care for this important community space. Volunteers will help remove litter, tidy landscaping, and enhance the Town Green for everyone to enjoy. All are welcome to participate and make a positive impact in Manchester.

Join us for a community Greenup Day as we help beautify and care for our local environment along River Road. Volunteers of all abilities are welcome. Come enjoy fresh air, good company, and the satisfaction of making a positive difference in our community.

Vermont’s Merino Miracle
Discover the fascinating story of Vermont’s Merino wool industry with Dr. Jan Albers. This engaging presentation will explore the rise of Merino sheep farming in the 1800s and its profound impact on Vermont’s economy, agriculture, and landscape. At the height of the Merino boom, Vermont was home to an astonishing 1,681,000 sheep, making it a center of the nation’s wool production.

Winter Bazaar and Craft Sale at MCL
Join us for the Garden Club of Manchester’s annual Winter Bazaar and Craft Sale, a festive fundraising event featuring handcrafted gifts, seasonal décor, winter arrangements, boxwood trees, and unique creations made by our talented members. Whether you volunteer, shop, or both, your participation helps support the club’s programs and community projects.
Members are encouraged to assist with setup on Friday afternoon and help make this event a success.

Bridge of Flowers Excursion
Join us for a delightful day trip to beautiful Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, home to the renowned Bridge of Flowers. This unique landmark, originally a trolley bridge, was transformed into a stunning garden walkway and recently completed a $3 million restoration in 2024. Enjoy strolling through colorful floral displays, exploring the charming town, and sharing lunch with fellow parishioners.

2026 Annual Garden Club of Manchester Garden Tours
The Garden Club of Manchester's annual Garden Tour is one of our signature community events and an important fundraiser supporting the club's programs, projects, and scholarships. Members are encouraged to participate by volunteering, assisting with event preparations, and attending the tour as we showcase beautiful gardens throughout Manchester, Dorset, and East Dorset. With gardens, volunteers, and visitors coming together to celebrate the beauty of our region, this event truly reflects the spirit of community and gardening excellence. Your support and participation are essential to making the tour a success.

Thinking Outside the Vase and Garden Tour Preparation
Join fellow Garden Club of Manchester members for an evening of creativity, camaraderie, and garden tour preparation. Back by popular demand, this fun and interactive event invites members to bring a unique vase and flowers from home to exchange with another participant. Using your partner's flowers and container, you'll create a one-of-a-kind arrangement for them—and take home a beautiful creation designed especially for you. In addition to the floral fun, we'll spend time preparing for the upcoming Garden Tour, so extra helping hands are appreciated. Come ready to mix, mingle, create, and support one of the club's signature community events.
